In the majority of properties, the staircase is located in the hallway, making it one of the first things you and your guest see as they enter your home. A bespoke wooden staircase can be a striking design feature or it can be created to optimise the available space. Either way it has the potential to be a stunning talking point.
Our hand crafted wooden staircases are designed to fit the unique character and dimensions of your home. We work in a wide range of hardwoods, softwoods, colours and finishes to match the style that you are looking for. We can also incorporate glass and metal attachments to create a true one-off piece.
We will first visit your property to understand your vision, take all relevant measurements from which we create a pattern. When spiral or curved wooden staircases are requested, we even build a false wall in the workshop to ensure a perfect fit!
All decorative spindles and newel posts are turned by our craftsmen at our Hanslope workshop near Milton Keynes. We are able to create period or contemporary shapes and styles to achieve an impressive finish. Every custom made wooden staircase is built with close attention to detail and in compliance with British building regulations.
