A barge board is a decorative molded or carved timber work fastened to the projecting gables on the roof of a property, used to hide the end of horizontal purlins on the roof. There are many different designs depending on the age of the building, we received a old barge board to copy, it was from an old property in Pottersbury that was a bit worse for wear.
